Bethany Watrous 

About Me

Bethany is an archaeologist and digital artist who received her Master's in Archaeology of Buildings with distinction from the University of York in 2019. Her research in 3D reconstructive modeling of lost structures led her to found Experience Heritage, an endeavor that combines her heritage and digital media passions. Her work largely focuses on 3D modeling, XR and mobile applications to educate and make heritage more immersive and accessible, for groups such as the National Trust and the National Paralympics Heritage Trust. Recently Bethany was awarded Most Influential Digital Media and Research Businesswoman by Acquisition International Magazine; she was also named in the Digital Enterprise Top 100 Index and included in the Yorkshire Business Insider’s 42 Under 42 for 2023.
