7. The role of the narrator

The Northern Digital Storytelling Festival is an online festival comprising 20 sessions designed to encourage collaboration, inspiration, and knowledge-share at the intersections between games, film and TV, XR and the more traditional creative industries, to encourage the furthering of ‘Digital Storytelling’ innovations in the North of England and beyond.

Here our presenters will explore the role of narrator in the new XR space by examining the pros and cons of its presence in several different projects. We will be joined by Lucy Hammond, Creative Director at Pilot Theatre, and Dr Anna Bramwell-Dicks from the University of York. (other speaker to be announced)
