About Me
Jenna Ng is Senior Lecturer in Film and Interactive Media at the University of York, UK. She works primarily on digital visual culture, but has also published widely on interactive story, digital culture, the philosophy of technology, and the posthuman. Her books include Understanding Machinima: Essays on Films in Virtual Worlds (Bloomsbury, 2013) and The Post-Screen Through Virtual Reality, Holograms and Light Projections: Where Screen Boundaries Lie (Amsterdam University Press, 2021). She also produces creative projects, her latest work a multimedia website (http://thenewvirtuality.com) on the phenomenon of virtual humans and the bio-material meanings of being human.
