Roger Hyams

Roger is a writer, director, script editor and teacher. After twelve years as an actor, he joined the BBC as a script editor in television and film, and before going freelance was Head of Development in Drama at TalkBack productions. Since then Roger has written the book and lyrics for two musicals, made several short films, and is developing two feature projects. He has also co-directed two operas, and his first novel, The Lightman System, was published in 2022. Roger has been a visiting lecturer on the London Film School Screenwriting MA since its inception.
